Thank you so much for your wonder...Hello Sharmalan,
Thank you so much for your wonderful blog.
I was in desperate search of this explaination.
Need your help, our ancestor's were worshipping munisvaran in their home backyard with 5 stones ( this is what i heard) and we are pure vegetarian's. Later family was divided and everyone moved out and noone there lives and everything is sold there. After coming back to bangalore from gudipala, my gradfather started worshipping munishwaran temple near to home where veg, non veg everything is offered. But we have lot of issues goin on in home. We dont find peace, quarrel between mother and DIL. I dont even feel this life.
Insipite of lot of pooja's and devotional things done in home by mother and wife.
when we try to find the root problem people tell this might be because of Kula daivam or home god and our kula daivam is vasavi kanyaka parmeshwari and home god is Muniswaran. Now not sure if the god is pleased with our pooja. we go to munishwaran temple several times in year( fixed days).
Can you kindly let me know if the problem is we switched the god after our ancestral move to differnt place? but still we worshipped in differnt temple but m not sure whats the issue.
some said your home god is not entering your home oly so the positivity is not flowing.

Can you kindly help us.Chanduhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15743341700321963247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4345234129024367362.post-76705855760542471392019-09-07T17:16:46.523+08:002019-09-07T17:16:46.523+08:00Very interesting read. Among tons of bullshit about this deity in the web, I find yours nearly accurate as possible. I wish you could also write up more on other Kaval Devatas/Parivara Devatas prominent in Malaysia. Deities like Periyachi Amman, Sudalai Madan, Karuppar etc. I see many nonsense propagated by many Pujaris about Kaval Devatas etc. Hope you research & write up more about this demigods(?). There is a saying that in night times when he rides people could hear the gallops of horse and the ringing of the bells. If one gets on his way he would definitely slash with his sword and next day the person will be dead. I want to know which Muni he is and also in my family we wont keep his photo. We go to his temple and worship him. I basically located at hyderabad but Iam a tamilian. My native is periya kolapulur near vellore. From what I understand, Kateri Amman are female deities originally worshipped in these areas. Kateri may not refer to one specific deity but could be a generic name for such deities. They are said to be ferocious. Maybe similar to the Dakinis or Yakshis. If you have a photo of your kula deivam, then you can learn about her worship and conduct proper rituals at home. The best is to take a picture of her shrine in your ancestral village.Sharmalan Thevarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15905439167704608705noreply@blogger.com
